Dental practitioners regsitered in Australia who sign up to work with a patient with disability will enter our Inclusive Dental Champions Fellowship Program, with two seminars, and monthly training over an 18 month period. This includes training in easy and effective special needs dentistry techniques, positive behaviour support, planning, and supported decision making. You will also have access to:

• disability professionals and advocates

• special needs dentistry specialists

• speech pathologists

• …and many more!

 

The journey:

• Sign up: Welcome to the Program!

• Step 1: Attend our first seminar led by an expert interdisciplinary team of One One Twelve partners

• Step 2: Attend an introductory 1 on 1 meeting with one of our mentors

• Step 3: Get matched with a person with disability and start working together

• Step 4: Attend a monthly workshop with the One One Twelve team for 18 months

• Step 5: Call one of our One One Twelve mentors whenever you need extra help or advice.
